Everything published here — the practice area pages, the blog, the answers to common questions — is general information about United States immigration law. It is not legal advice, and it is not a substitute for advice about your own circumstances.

Immigration law changes frequently, and it changes faster than a website does. A page that was accurate when it was written may no longer be. Outcomes depend on facts we do not know about you, and small differences in a person's history routinely change the answer entirely.

Do not act, or decide not to act, on the basis of anything on this site without speaking to a lawyer about your own situation.

No attorney-client relationship

Reading this site, sending us a message through it, or emailing or telephoning us does not make us your lawyers. An attorney-client relationship is created only when we have completed a conflict check and signed a written engagement agreement with you.

Until that has happened, information you send us is not confidential and is not protected by the attorney-client privilege. Please do not send us confidential information before we have agreed to act for you.

Our attorneys are licensed as stated on the Our Team page; immigration law is federal, and an attorney admitted in any United States jurisdiction may practise it before the immigration agencies and courts nationwide. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute arising out of them will be brought in the state or federal courts sitting in Tarrant County, Texas, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

We may change these terms at any time. The date at the top of the page is when they last changed, and continuing to use the site means you accept the change.
